Wall Street reaction to Zuckerberg hoodie

Mark Zuckerberg is probably the hottest thing since sliced bread right now.

We all love Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Well, at least I know that I do and most people around my age are in awe of him and want to be like him. The thing that is even more fascinating about him is his very casual style and way of addressing the media and public at large.

The recent episode that has Zuckerberg getting heat from Wall Street is how he came to a meeting with potential investors wearing a hoodie. I guess if your company is going to be in a smash hit stock offering soon you and I would do the same thing as well. We already know how these tech billionaires really do not care and are pretty eccentric.

I think Zuckerberg wearing a hoodie may have annoyed some of the investors, but if you are someone like me that is only worried about the ROI and the dollars and cents, then it really doesn’t matter what some CEO wears for a meeting. He could wear pajamas for all I care!

What is funny is that Zuckerberg actually wore pajamas to a meeting with a venture capital firm and this was during Facebook’s earlier days.

But there were mixed reactions to the whole thing. Some analysts and others in the tech world felt that the hoodie was a good sign as Zuckerberg was being himself and this was the reason behind Facebook’s blockbuster success. If the Facebook CEO were to wear a suit and tie and move away from his usual attire of a T-shirt and sandals, it might send a message to investors that Facebook is getting away from what made it hot in the first place.
