Make Money with CreateSpace

I was first introduced to CreateSpace by my daughter. She completed the NaNoWriMo Young Writer’s Program during the month of November. As a result of this, she was given five free copies of her novel at CreateSpace.
I was amazed to discover that CreateSpace allows you to create your book for free. They don’t have any membership fees, and even give you a free ISBN. It took us about two hours to get the book completely submitted because we didn’t know ahead of time that there were templates that can be used to make the submission process easier. My daughter really wanted to use the cover that her best friend designed, so we pressed on until CreateSpace accepted the book.
Once everything checks out, you can order a proof. You will have to pay for the proof of course, but it wasn’t that much. I think we got our proof in less than a week, which was surprising because it was close to Christmas time. As soon as you approve your proof, you can set your price for the book. Then you can choose where to make the book available.
I left my daughter’s book in the CreateSpace catalog for purchase because it was more like a school project that only my family would be interested in buying, but there are many other options. You can begin to make money by putting the book for sale at Amazon.com, in book stores, on websites, or as an eBook.
So if you like writing and are knowledgeable in a specific niche, start making money online through CreateSpace. I have already begun a book about my handicap child that I plan on having published by the summer of 2012.
